Tears as Nigeria’s First Female Combat Pilot, Arotile, get buried




The remains of the Nigeria’s First Female Combat Pilot, Flying Officer Tolulope Arotile have been buried at the military cemetery at Airport Road Abuja on Thursday.

Recall that Arotile was reported dead last week Tuesday after she was involved in an accident, where her old school mate knocked her down at the Nigeria Air Force Base In Kaduna State.

It was reported that Arotile had died from loss of blood and trauma in the head, News4Naija has reported that the men of the Nigeria police had taken over the investigation of the flying officers death as various groups called for the probe of her death.

Her body was brought into the cemetery with an ambulance belonging to the Nigerian Air Force with registration number AF 442.

Present at the burial to pay the respected officer final burial rights include members of her family, Chief of Defence Staff, General Gabriel Olonisakin, Chief of Air Staff, Air Marshal Abubakar Sadique, Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello and his wife, House of Representative Chairman on Air Force, Bala Ib’n Nalla and  other dignitaries.
