Survival Funds: FG Begins Distribution Of N30,000 To Nigerians

The federal government has started distributing N30,000 to small businesses to alleviate the effects of COVID-19.
333,000 households will receive N30,000 each to reduce their COVID-19 impact under the Government Survival Funds program.
The funds will be distributed in Kano, Kaduna, Borno, Bauchi, Lagos, Abuja, Plateau, Ekiti, Abia, Rivers, and Delta States.
The Minister of Industry, Trade and Investment, Ambassador Mariam Yelwa Katagum, said 45 percent of the recipients were women.
She made the announcement during the launch of the distribution in Abuja on Thursday during Nigeria’s 60th Independence Day celebrations.
