Man killed and buried 4-years-old son in Anambra



One Mr. Christian Alisigwe, aged 35 has reportedly killed and buried his four-year-old son and proceeded to bury him in a shallow grave digger in his compound.

The incident according to news source happened in Ihite, Azia Area of Ihiala Local Government Area of Anambra state.

A resident in the area who pleaded anonymity told news men that Alisigwe killed his son Ebubechukwu, and buried the corpse in a shallow grave within his compond, the resident explains that the victim was Alisigwe’s only son.

Confirming the incident the Police Public Relations Officer in the state, Mr Haruna Muhammed said detective from the Nigeria Police Force have visited the culprits residence and have exhumed the corpse, according to him the corpse have been taken to Abam mortuary for autopsy.

The Anambra state PPRO explained that one Christian Alisigwe aged 35 of Ihite Azia in Ihiala LGA of Anambra State was suspected to have allegedly killed his biological son Ebubechukwu aged 4 with a Cutlass, and that the culprit went on to burry the victim in the same compound where they had lived.

However Mohammed pointed out that the culprit, Alisigwe, was apprehended by police operatives attached to Azia Police station on Friday around 3.12pm.

Mohammed in his statement reported that the case have been transferred to the State Criminal Investigation Department in Awka the Anambra state Capital for discreet investigations.
