Oyo State Authorities has commenced airing classes in English Language and Arithmetic for Main College Pupils on the radio.
This, the Govt Chairman, Oyo State Common Primary Schooling Board, Dr. Nureni Adeniran stated is in fulfilment of the state authorities’s promise to cut back the damaging affect of colleges’ closure on account of the COVID-19 on pupils.
Adeniran stated that there could be a broadcast of the interactive radio instruction initiative tagged ‘Oyo SUBEB Studying-on-air’ on Oluyole 98.5 FM, whereas a simulcast could be aired on Oke-Ogun 96.three FM and Ajilete 92.1 FM.
In response to him, the programme, which covers Primary 1-6, is a part of the strategic efforts of Governor Seyi Makinde’s administration to maintain pupils busy through the ongoing sit-at-home interval and to cut back the damaging impacts of faculty closure on pupils.
He stated, “The programme is designed to begin with the instructing of English language and Arithmetic, whereas we could embrace different topics subsequently. The Programme could be on air from Monday and would run each day, besides on Sundays”
In response to the schedule made accessible by the Board, the teachings would air twice every-day from Monday-Saturday.
