Forbes deny claims that Hushpuppi was part of it’s Billionaire list

The American based business magazine has in a recent publication deny claims that the alledge cyber criminal currently undergoing trial in the INTERPOL custody, Ramon Abbas, popularly known as Hushpuppi was part of Forbes Billionaire list.

Hushpuppi, a Nigeria, at the moment is been quizzed in the US over alleged conspiracy to perpetrate money laundering, he has in time past flaunted his wealth by posting pictures of himsf in private jets consuming expensive champagnes or sitting amidst uncountable dollar notes.

Several pictures of his ostentaneous lifestyle posted by him on social media has him reading copies of the Forbes magazine, and this has raised some thought among his viewers that he might be among the Forbes list of billionaires.

However, the prominent business magazine known for listing billionaires from around the world, Forbes, on Thursday released a publication to kill all doubts by declaring that Hushpuppi was never among the Forbes list of Billionaires.

Among those that have made Forbes Billionaires list include Bill Gates, Jeff Bezos among others, Forbes said it does not currently include Abass (Hushpuppi) in it’s World Billionaires list, and went further to report that there are more than Two thousand and ninety-five billionaire in the World with a networth of about USD10 trillion.

Hushpuppi who had been convicted over an alleged fraud of NGN 168 billion has never been part of the World billionaires, said Forbes.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation has also accused Abass of attempting to scam an English Premier League football club of £100m which approximately worth NGN48.4 billion.

A legal aid to Hushpuppi had however informed the media that his Nigerian client the accused was never involved in a fraud and has propagated legal business before his arrest.

However the FBI in a statement reiterated that if Hushpuppi risks serving a Twenty year jail term if the court funds him guilty.
