EFCC Boss Ibrahim Magu faces Presidential panel alleged of Impropriety

The Economic and Financial Crimes Commission acting Chairman, Ibrahim Magu, has on Monday been apprehended by men of the Department of State Service (DSS) for questioning over alleged corruption and Impropriety by the Attorney-General of the Federation, Abubakar Malami (SAN).
EFCC spokesman, Dele Oyewale, in a statement debunked a news making the rounds that the EFCC boss was arrested, he reiterated that Ibrahim Magu Magu honored an invitation on Monday July 6, 2020,by the presidential panel that reviews the activities of the EFCC.
Oyewale in his statement went further to emphasize that Magu was neither taking away by force nor arrested and that the EFCC Boss has respected the invitation and politely went with the DSS operatives to honor the invitation.
The EFCC spokesman, reported that Magu was accompanied by a member of the EFCC legal team to honor the invitation at Abuja in the Banquet Hall wing of the Presidential Villa.
However, Ibrahim Magu, have been serving as the acting Chairman of the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), for over four years, and has the moment being arraigned before the presidential panel for questioning over alleged Impropriety.
