EDO: Ahead of Gubernatorial Election, PDP to launch campaign Committee on July 7

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has through its National Publicity Secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan on Sunday announced that, the Party in preparation for the September 19 Edo State Gubernatorial Election, would launch it’s campaign Committee on Tuesday, July 7.

This was according to a report signed by Kola Ologbondiyan, titled “PDP Inaugurates Edo Governorship National Campaign Council Tuesday”.

Ologbondiyan stated that a larger part of the committee would be participating in the launching through zoom, while the Campaign Chairman, his deputy and secretary would be at the launching slated for 1PM on Tuesday.

The PDP National Chairman, Governor’s in the Party, members of the Board of Trustees, and National working Committees are also expected at the inauguration which will be held in Abuja.

Recall that the PDP had earlier announced Governor Godwin Obaseki as its candidate in the coming September 19 Governorship Election.

The Party had also mentioned former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar, Adamawa State Governor Ahmadu Fintiri, Rivers State Governor Nyesom Wike as part of it’s campaign Committee for it’s standard bearer.
