Couple, Who make Millions from Operating baby factory arrested in Rivers, See how

The Nigerian Police Force Rivers State Command has recently arrest a couple, Chidi and Maureen Martins, in Port Harcourt for allegedly running a baby factory in a church.

News4Naija gathered that the couple sourced for teenagers who could not take care of their pregnancies in Rivers State and it’s environs and bring them to the church with a promise of providing them all necessary care.

The couple then go on to induce it’s victim to give birth at eight month due to teaming demands from buyers, the perpetrator reportedly drug their victim to sleep after childbirth.

A reliable source confirms that after selling the baby, the couple give the mothers N30,000, as transport fare to their various homes.

Among the culprits’ victim that was rescued by police were three pregnant teenagers, three new born babies and their mothers, a couple who paid N3.5 Million in exchange for a baby boy and girl was also arrested.

NewsNaija learnt that Maureen and her husband Chidi work in conjunction with a woman called IB, IB who is currently at large, was the intermidiary between the baby factory and buyers.

The source who pleaded to remain anonymous claims that Maureen and Chidi have been into the baby business for over six years with buyers from across the country, selling a baby boy for N1.5 Million and a baby girl for N1.2 Million.

Maureen age 45, a native of Imo State, said she was a trained nurse who only help to deliver the teenagers of their babies, and that it was IB who recruit both the expectant helpless girls and the baby buyers.

One of the victim who was a secondary school leaver said she ended up in the victim after the person who impregnated her could not take care of her, according to her someone had helped to help her and took her to the baby factory.

She accounted that she had lived in the factory for a month before she was forced to put to bed before her due date and learnt that her child was sold for N2.5 Million.

Another teenager who was interrogated said she fell into the culprits’ net after her parents rejected her and her boyfriend could not take care of her, she was introduced to the baby factory by a friend.
