BREAKING! Ondo Election: Wild Jubilation as Jegede Wins Own Polling Unit

Voting has been concluded while sorting and counting of the ballots in most polling units in the Ondo governorship election is gradually coming to an end in most parts of the state.

In one of the earliest results, Eyitayo Jegede, the candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP massively floors Governor Rotimi Akeredolu, his All Progressives Congress, APC as main opponent at his Unit 09 polling unit, Ward 1, Gbogi/Isokan area in Akure South Local Government Area.

He polled 220 votes to defeat Akeredolu of the APC who scored 60 and Agboola who polled seven votes.

Jegede votes at Unit 009, Ward 2, Akure LG located inside Sacred Heart Primary School, Cathedral area of Akure.

At the second unit in the primary school, Jegede polled 158 votes to defeat APC candidate who polled 43 and ZLP candidate Ajayi Agboola who polled four votes
