Big Brother Naija kicks off with 20 housemates

Big Brother Naija reality TV show has kicked off amidst fun and excitement on Sunday 19th of July 2020, this edition, which is the Fifth season of the prestigious TV show will feature 20 housemates battling a whopping grand prize of N85 million.

The housemates comprises of ten males and ten females, there names are Osom, Nathoni, Vee, Tochi, Kabyna, Eric, Prince, Lilo, Trickytee, Lucy, Praise, Erica, Kidwaya, Dorothy, Tolanibaj, Brighto, Laycon, Neo, Nengi and Kaisha.

However, this season’s winning which includes a N30 million in cash makes it the biggest winning in the history Big Brother Naija and all other reality TV show in Africa.

The Chief Executive Officer of MultiChoice Nigeria, John Ugbe, said the season 5 of the prestigious Big Brother Naija marks a major milestone in the history of reality TV shows, he explained that the organizers are making the fifth season more significant by increasing the winning and incorporating innovatives and creative ideas to premiumly entertain the viewers especially in the face of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Here is a breakdown of the Big Brother Naija grand prize for this year, the winner will go home with 30 million cash, alongside a two-bedroom apartment courtesy of Revolution Plus, trip to Dublin courtesy Guinness; top of the range SUV from Nigerian automaker, Innoson Motors; trip to watch the UEFA Champions League finale; brand new Oppo mobile smartphone, trip to Dubai packaged by Travelbeta; a year’s supply of Indomie noodles, home appliances courtesy of Scanfrost, Munch it and Colgate toothpaste; a year’s supply of Pepsi, and branded chiller.
