APC replies PDP, says nobody is above the law in APC Government



The All Progressive Congress in a response to an earlier statement released by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) accusing the party of Treasury Looting Manifesto, APC said nobody is above the law in President, Major General Muhammadu Buhari (retd.) Led regime.

The response was contained in a release tittles “PDP on corruption: Nobody is above the law in APC’s Government,” signed by the APC National Publicity Secretary, Yekini Nabena, in Abuja, on Sunday.

Earlier on Sunday the PDP had released a statement titled, “Corruption in Buhari Presidency, APC, Responsible for Poverty Poverty in Nigeria – PDP…Says Treasury Looting Is APC’s Manifesto, signed by the National Peoples Democratic Party publicity secretary, Kola Ologbondiyan.

Nabena in the statement explained that the PDP who were the former ruling party does not have what it takes to complain about corrupt practices in the present administration of the APC, he pointed out that it is on record that PDP is the founder of Corruption in Nigeria.

He further reiterated that the evil practice of fund looting and corrupt practices were made official way of life throughout the sixteen wasteful years spent in power by the former ruling party PDP.

However, the ruling party in his response promised Nigerians that theBuhari led regime is committed to fighting corruption and would not condone any form of corrupt practices.
